Tabata This

I am back with Crossfit Boston programming. They hadn’t updated for yesterday, which is why I was sort of flying solo. Anyway, they caught up now and today’s prescription was Tabata This, which is 20 seconds on, 10 seconds off x8 for each exercise: Squats, Rower (calories), Pull-up, Sit-up, Push-up, with a one-minute rest in between sets. I knew that I wouldn’t be able to do the pull-ups. I can do some pull-ups, but not after tabata rowing. So I subbed in under-the-bar rows, which was dumb in some respect because you use the same muscles as you do for rowing. Anyway, here’s how it ended up breaking down:

Squat: 16-15-15-14-12-13-12-12
Rower: 7-6-6-6-6-5-6-5
Under-bar rows: 8-5-5-4-4-4-3-3
Sit-up: 16-16-15-14-13-12-12-12
Push-up: 9-8-6-6-5-4-4-4

For a grand total of: 348

I can’t sit without my legs shaking.
