Another big competitors lifting day. I would do it tomorrow, but there is probably not going to be time. As a matter of fact, I am not sure how likely consistent Saturdays for two hours are going to be for me. Ah well, case by case. Started with front squats, 4×3 adding 5-10 pounds from last week:

-45×5

-95×3

-115×3

-125×3

-135×3

-145x3x4

Next was a complex of three power cleans and one jerk, and I got **135#,** and then I got 145# x2 power cleans. Then came the Bergeron Open Test, which is a 20-minute AMRAP of:

-50 wall balls

-50 DU

-40 box jumps

-40 TTB

-30 burpees

-30 CTB

-20 things

-20 other things

-10 what’s-its

-10 muscle ups in there somewhere

I got 222, which is 12 into the CTB. This is not a bad score at all, for me. I did the wall balls unbroken, and I did better than usual on the TTB. Then came Pendlay rows, 3×10, which I did at 105#, which turned out to be the perfect weight because I had just done the CTB, so it was pretty hard. Finished with a partial Flight Simulator, 3 attempts each at 10-20-30-40-50-40-30-20-10 DU, go on to the next one if you miss. So that was 10-(15,8,3)-30-(9,14,2)-(19,5,6), which was the set of 50. Then I ran out of time for the day as I had to go to work. I cut it close too, and so didn’t have time to eat second breakfast really. I will have more carbs with dinner for sure.

ETA: Oh yeah, my iPod took a dump 20 wall balls into the Bergeron Open Test. Sumbitch.
