Snatch and Tabata

Yesterday, my first day back, was the dreaded every 2 minute for 20 minute snatch progression for weight:

-power snatch/full snatch
-hang power snatch/full snatch

I got up to 90 on the complex and 95 on the snatch itself, which is a PR by 10 pounds, although it was ugly. After 95#, the wheels came off the wagon and I couldn’t do the complex again at any weight. But, BUT, I didn’t cry on the way home, which is huge.

Today was tabata:

-KB swings (24kg/16kg)
-Air squats
-STO (95#/65#)
-Push-ups (knees)

Lowest score in each round: 11, 14, 4, 4. The first two went well, the third went not as well as I’d hoped, and the last, well…not a surprise.
